Product Description
The Ruger® Air Hawk is a 1000 feet per second pellet rifle with a single-shot cocking mechanism. This spring pistol break barrel airgun has a rifled blued barrel and receiver and is crafted with dark hard wood that is sleekly formed into an ambidextrous stock suitable for both right- and left-hand shooters. The Air Hawk rifle is equipped with fiber optic sights, an adjustable trigger, and a muzzlebrake. When you shoulder this Ruger Air Rifle, you'll notice a comfortable grip, a conveniently placed automatic safety and a rubber recoil pad. The Ruger AirHawk also comes with a 4x32 airgun scope that is made to withstand the double recoil action produced by air rifles.

Some reviews complain about the Chinese manufacturing and proclaim a deep seated hatred for the low build quality. If you have any questions, you can always talk to Ruger about it. These are Ruger designed and inspected parts made in China. Trust me... this is the finest quality varmint gun you can find for the money. The barrel is a real chunk of blued steel as is the spring-piston housing. The wood stock is surprisingly nice, although it's varnish, not poly. It's a heavy gun. Roughly as heavy as my Winchester model 100 .308. It's also a fairly large gun at 3" longer than the previously mentioned rifle. My only complaint is that Amazon had clearly smashed the box nose-first into something and threw the rifle through its packaging and out the front of the box. That said, the gun was fine, the open sights were visibly out of alignment, but easily fixed with the windage knobs and a few rounds of practice.The Gun: The scope rings are useless unless you want... The first three or four shoots like a real rifle lots of smoke and what not this is normal. after those shoots it quites down. This gun shoots a little more than 1000 feet pre second little bit of kick not much. takes a little bit of effort to pull down down the barrel. Dont buy plastic buy wood. Great gun real wood and meatl barrel. You will need a good target for this gun it will go throw cardbord like nothing. |

This is a very nice clone of a Crosman 2100, and for a good price. I wouldn't let the refurbished title deter anyone, mine barely seemed used when it came. I got a 4x20 scope along with it, but I didn't really like it so much because the parallax was set out too far--it wasn't too bad though, a lot better than lot of people will give it credit for.Out of the box it was really hard to pump up, but once I put some oil on it it loosened up quite a bit. It still takes a little bit of a squeeze to get the last bit of air from the pump into the chamber once you've got it in the 7-10 pump ranges, but it's still no where near as difficult as it was when it needed oil. I bought a 3-9x32mm scope with adjustable objective so I could shoot inside of 30 yards in my backyard. I'm really impressed with the accuracy. I zero in at 25 yards and can get 1/2" groups easily, sometimes just one big ragged hole from 1/4" to 3/8". It's also plenty for crows and squirrels all the... Read more |
