Crosman PRO77 Kit air pistol

Product Description

Action shooting with the PRO77 blow-back BB pistol. This has got to be one of the neatest pistols Crosman's brought out in a while. Put 17 steel BBs into the stick magazine hidden in the grip, cock the hammer.(Never shoot steel BBs at metal objects) As fast as you can pull the trigger, this nifty pistol pops out another BB. The awesome blow-back action works smoothly and flawlessly. This pistol is realistic, right down to the way it fills your hand just like an expensive firearm. For extra control, the grip has some stippling and finger grooves. Speaking of the grip, that's also where you'll insert a 12-Gram CO2 powerlet. The frame is made of a durable synthetic, the slide is made of metal and the barrel is steel. There's even a rail under the barrel to mount accessories. If you like realistic airguns that look and act like firearms, the Crosman PRO77 is for you. Includes two 12-Gram CO2 cartridges, Crosman shooting glasses and 350 steel BBs.

5.0 out of 5 stars Feels real, great blowback feature, July 22, 2007

I own several Crosman pistols and this one is my favorite. The gun feels very real when held in your hand. It doesnt have that cheap plastic look and feel that so many other air pistols have. It is a bit heavier like a firearm. When you fire the pistol, the realistic blowback feature provides a little kick, you don't usually get with an air gun. I really like it. It has never jammed on me either. You can rattle off all 17 rounds very quickly because the trigger is very light. It is not as loud (I like them loud) and powerful as my Crosman 1088 and it doesn't fire pellets (my favorite), but it is my favorite pistol for plinking. Buy plenty of BB's because you'll need them.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great BB Gun, June 8, 2008

This review is from: Crosman PRO77 Kit air pistol (Sports)
I bought this specific bb gun after doing some research, and looking for the most realisitc style gun out there. I had saved $25 off this product because I opened an Amazon Credit Card (COMES IN VERY HANDY!!) and this package is a great value. The gun feels a little bit heavy (simliar to a handgun) and has a solid metal construction. The clip/co2 tank area is the only plastic area of the pistol, and it looks very realistic even when it runs out of ammo... the blowback (recoil) is very cool because you feel like you fired a real gun too. I like how you can also buy spare clips for about $6 and have them preloaded, so once your out of ammo, you just press the little button by the trigger, and the ammo/co2 tanks area slides right out... just put on the new ammo clip and slap it back in! I am planing on buying a laser to go with it for about $20, but this bb gun is a great starter bb gun. I really like the price and quality of this piece.

4.0 out of 5 stars Great Gun, but just a few things can be improved, November 26, 2007
This review is from: Crosman PRO77 Kit air pistol (Sports)
First off, I would like to say that this is a great gun with great performance. Realistic; weight, feel, look like a real gun. Definitely recommend buying it.

One little issue is that the CO2 cartage is hard to load, i have to twist really hard to for the needle to fully puncture the CO2 cartage.

Another is that the gun can have a little more power/fps, it is quite powerful, but it would be much better to increase the fps to around 380-400 fps.

Very reasonably priced with Amazon Prime shipping.

They are Crossman and, (no real surprise), they function as intended reliably.

I use a pair of these in my Umarex Steel Storm CO2 pistol. Even in the current cold temps I'm getting about 250 rounds from a pair of cartridges shooting full-auto burst. That is a ton of fun for very little cost.

Tree rats beware; I just purchased another box of 40.

Hogue Stock Tamer Shotgun Pistol Grip for Remington 870

Product Description

OverMolding provides the ultimate in a comfortable, non-slip, super smooth attractive finish that is durable and extremely quiet. The exclusive Cobblestone texture further enhances all Hogue stocks by providing an efficient non-slip, non irritating stippling pattern. OverMolded Stocks are constructed by molding a super strong, rigid fiberglass reinforced skeleton or "insert" that precisely fits the guns' action. This rigid skeleton is then OverMolded with a durable but soft synthetic elastomer (rubber). During the heat and extreme pressure of injection molding the elastomer adheres chemically as well as mechanically to the skeleton, resulting in a permanent bond between the rubber and the insert. The super strong skeleton gives the stocks their strength, and the precise molded dimensions provide a perfect drop-in fit of your rifle or shotgun. The state of the art elastomer material used on Hogue stocks won't harden with age and is virtually impervious to all oils and solvents found around firearms, providing years of dependable service.

This set is by far my favorite... The feel of the rubber grip and forend is great and give you a lot of control, grip feels solid and looks great, forend fits perfectly and works great with my tacstar 6 shell side saddle... only took me about 5 mins to put them on... this is a must have for any home defence shotgun...

5.0 out of 5 stars Great grip and great price., September 13, 2010
Amazon Verified Purchase( What's this?)
To begin, I think Hogue makes some of the most quality grips that money can buy at a very affordable price. This grip is incredibly comfortable and the Tamer technology significantly reduces the recoil of my 12 gauge (at least as much as possible considering it is a pistol grip). The pump fore-end is also very comfortable and allows for a much better grip than standard wood. The only draw back is that these grip will collect dirt if you drop them or put them down in dirt/sand (but I bought these for home defense, so this is not a problem for me). I have bought a couple other pistol grips for shotguns (ATI and Tac Star), but this is far superior to either one of those. Installation is easy and the comfort can't be beat. If you are interested in turning your Remington 870 into a home defense shotgun, I would definitely start with these. The other reason why I like these is that you can get a matching shoulder stock, so when you want to shoot skeet or go hunting, all you have to do... Read more
