Product Description

The PT-85 Blowback Socom CO2 powered air pistol is featuring the innovative Blowback feature. This technique provides an authentic look and feel and realistic actiona and is achieved utilizing a small portion of air to move the slide backward when firing. This air pistol is capable of projecting a pellet up to 560fps with Gamo's PBA Platinum Pellets. A rifled steel barrel and textured grip are also features of this new airgun.

pros: 560 fps with alloy pellets.. around 480 fps with regular lead pellets.
amazing blowback recoil (especially with fresh cO2 cartridge)
great construction and heavy feel
fake silencer is removable
quick loading magazine 16 bb/pellets.
can empty 8 shots really fast.
manual safety lock
cheap price
can reach 270 yards.

cons: really thirsty with the cO2 only gives 36-40 shots,
due to blowback feature sharing the gas. (12 gram cartridge)

The pistol shoots ok for the first 20 shots and then begins loosing power fast. I only get 35 to 40 shots from one co2 cart. and the follow shots are very very slow!! The blowback feature is worthless, I would rather have the extra shots and power.

Purchased for husband and 7 out of 10 times it won't fire and it jams up. He thought this would be a great pistol but is now very disappointed in its performance and has boxed it up to return it. He tried everything he could to get it to fire and not jam and finally gave up, it just doesn't work properly.
