Good rifle and good price, Amazon Verified Purchase( What's this?) This review is from: (Refurbished) Remington Airmaster 77 .177 Caliber Air Rifle w/Scope - 755 fps! (Misc.) This is a very nice clone of a Crosman 2100, and for a good price. I wouldn't let the refurbished title deter anyone, mine barely seemed used when it came. I got a 4x20 scope along with it, but I didn't really like it so much because the parallax was set out too far--it wasn't too bad though, a lot better than lot of people will give it credit for.Out of the box it was really hard to pump up, but once I put some oil on it it loosened up quite a bit. It still takes a little bit of a squeeze to get the last bit of air from the pump into the chamber once you've got it in the 7-10 pump ranges, but it's still no where near as difficult as it was when it needed oil. I bought a 3-9x32mm scope with adjustable objective so I could shoot inside of 30 yards in my backyard. I'm really impressed with the accuracy. I zero in at 25 yards and can get 1/2" groups easily, sometimes just one big ragged hole from 1/4" to 3/8". It's also plenty for crows and squirrels all the... Read more |
