The RECON Whisper is the new youth gun from Gamo, this new airgun features a noise dampener with Whisper technology. This also give the RECON a terrific new tactical look. This air rifle can have up to 750 FPS with Gamo Platimum ammo. It comes standard with a durable all-weather black synthetic thumbhole stock and twin cheek pads for ambidextrous shooting.

Light weight, respectable power & looks cool.
I wish Gamo would have used a gas piston, instead of a spring piston for quieter shots. The noise dampener helps a little, compared to a basic air rifle. People complain about the scope, but if you take the time to sight it properly, w/ a comfortable distant from your eye, it'll do the job. All in all a GREAT air rifle for the price.

I just got my gamo a few weeks ago i like it only one thing wrong Yall didn't have fps on the description of it so i figured it was the 1200fps Gamo but it was the 750fps gamo need to put that on the description thanks.

We bought this air rifle for our daughter's birthday. My husband, who has 25+ years experience with guns, was unable to attach the scope to the gun b/c it didn't fit. We took it to the store where purchased and the super-nice employees spent 20 minutes bending the scope brackets until it could be attached. At this point, it was discovered that the scope doesn't really focus. In the end, we bought a separate scope and attached it to the rifle.

The rifle is very quiet, however, and now that we resolved the scope issues I think it will be a good gun.
